Tropical Smoothie

Very good anti-inflammatory smoothie!

Ingredients:

  • 8-12 ounces, Silk protein milk

  • 8-12 ounces water

  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil

  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds

  • 1/4 cup unsweetened shredded coconut (optional)

  • 1/2 cup frozen pineapple

  • 1/2 cup frozen mango

  • 1/2 cup raw carrots

  • 1/2 banana (optional)

  • 1/2 block firm tofu, drained (or 20 grams of approved protein powder)

  • 1 tablespoon turmeric paste

  • 1/2 dime size piece of fresh ginger (or a dash of ground ginger)

  • ice

Instructions:

Place liquids and oil in a high power blender. Add remaining ingredients and blend until well mixed.
