Tropical Smoothie
Very good anti-inflammatory smoothie!
Ingredients:
8-12 ounces, Silk protein milk
8-12 ounces water
1 tablespoon coconut oil
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1/4 cup unsweetened shredded coconut (optional)
1/2 cup frozen pineapple
1/2 cup frozen mango
1/2 cup raw carrots
1/2 banana (optional)
1/2 block firm tofu, drained (or 20 grams of approved protein powder)
1 tablespoon turmeric paste
1/2 dime size piece of fresh ginger (or a dash of ground ginger)
ice
Instructions:
Place liquids and oil in a high power blender. Add remaining ingredients and blend until well mixed.
