Anti-Inflammatory Energy Bites
Ingredients:
1/2 cup rolled oats
2 TBSP nut butter (I used sunflower butter)
1 tsp organic cane sugar
1/4 tsp turmeric
1/4 tsp ginger
dash of black pepper
dash of cinnamon
pinch of pink Himalayan salt
approximately 1-2 TBSP crushed sourdough pretzels (for the coating)
Instructions:
For a more crunchy texture, place all dry ingredients in a bowl and stir for a few seconds. Add the nut butter and stir until well mixed. Shape into quarter size pieces, roll in the pretzel coating and enjoy!
For a less crunchy texture, place all dry ingredients in a food processor and blend for about 30 seconds. Transfer to a bowl then add the nut butter. Stir until well mixed and shape into quarter size pieces, roll in the pretzel coating and enjoy!
