Savory Energy Nuggets
Ingredients:
1 cup oats (old fashioned or steel cut)
3/4 cup nut butter
1/4 cup finely minced kale
20-25 grams of BiPro Elite NSF Certified protein powder, your choice of flavor or unflavored
1-2 tbsp honey
2 tbsp hemp or chia seeds
1/2 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp turmeric
1/8 tsp black pepper
pinch of salt
dash of cayenne pepper
Instructions:
In a large mixing bowl, place the oats, seeds, spices and protein powder and mix well with a spoon or spatula.
Add nut butter and continue to mix.
Add kale and honey and continue to mix until the mixture is well formed.
Wet hands with water.
Partition into nuggets, balls, cubes or your choice of shape.
Place in tupperware and store in the refrigerator.
