Savory Energy Nuggets

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup oats (old fashioned or steel cut)

  • 3/4 cup nut butter

  • 1/4 cup finely minced kale

  • 20-25 grams of BiPro Elite NSF Certified protein powder, your choice of flavor or unflavored

  • 1-2 tbsp honey

  • 2 tbsp hemp or chia seeds

  • 1/2 tsp ginger

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

  • 1/2 tsp turmeric

  • 1/8 tsp black pepper

  • pinch of salt

  • dash of cayenne pepper

Instructions:

  • In a large mixing bowl, place the oats, seeds, spices and protein powder and mix well with a spoon or spatula.

  • Add nut butter and continue to mix.

  • Add kale and honey and continue to mix until the mixture is well formed.

  • Wet hands with water.

  • Partition into nuggets, balls, cubes or your choice of shape.

  • Place in tupperware and store in the refrigerator.
